(76.110.249.98) 		We're starting the JMT Sept.4th at Yosemite and have to be in Lone Pine on friday morning Sept.19.at 8.30 am to catch a bus to Bishop.Frankly transportation to and from SFO is a challenge, spend many hours online to figure it out as the buses only go certain days. Anyways is there transport from Whitney Portal to Lone Pine or is walking/hitching the only option?

Any suggestions welcome!!

We recently used the Mt. Whitney Shuttle Service to get from Whitney Portal to Horseshoe Meadows. At the Portal, 3 guys asked if they could get a ride to Lone Pine and they ended up coming along. They got a scenic ride to Horseshoe Meadows on the way to Lone Pine.

(76.110.249.98) 		Yes, I saw the list of the alternative drivers but Pennington and Wilder's numbers were disconnected , Sheldon not able to reach and another transport business out of business, thanks anyways though!
