I think it counts since I could SEE the entire Sierra Crest!
With promises of good weather for the weekend, I headed SE towards DV for the weekend, hoping to get some more time on snow with a bit less threat of something falling on my head (or me causing some trouble, for that matter!). Thanks, Steve L for posting the official Avi report!
I got to the Charcoal Kilns Saturday morning: road is completely clear to that point, and afterward it's got a beautiful coat of ice about 1-2" thick that the TOF couldn't handle. So this was going to be my base of ops for the weekend. A quick sprint up Wildrose Peak (9064ft) had a little snow, more ice (only one face plant and slide, nice), and lots of kitty tracks.
(I know, nice manicure, eh??)
Anyway, it was a gorgeous day, nice little trail, and a nice leg stretch. Pics are here.
I woke up late Sunday (I think I still have a bit of a phobia about starting in the dark when I'm solo. I see those bright green eyes from Yosemite!), and headed out to Mahogany Flat around 8. I was pretty set on R+B at this point from the start time, but I was also hauling snowshoes, axe, crampons, BBQ, sink, fresh killed rattlesnake for lunch, and basically whatever else could fit in the pack. The weather was completely perfect, and the views of Telescope from the backside of Rogers were amazing.
From the top of Bennett:
As you can see, the ridge has almost no snow on it right now, but you can bet there's some ice under there. We'll need a bit more snowfall before a lot of stuff becomes totally necessary. A subtle zephyr (read: snow facial) came to life when I hit the saddle, so I called it a turnaround point on Bennett, came back to walk up Rogers, then snowshoed down the jeep access road on the north face for a lovely stroll.
Nice Drifts for shoein':
A great couple of days, and my first close-up view of Big T. Seeing Whit on one side, then Badwater on the other was a real treat, too. Good times! Pics are here.

Nice pics Laura. I've always thought the Telescope Peak area is a magical place for winter hiking.

Laura, as usual, awesome pics. Thanks. And I could not agree with you more on the Moose Drool!!! Had it for the first time last summer in Kalispell and had to track down a local supplier here in Santa Barbara.
