If you visit the board regularly, it would be worth your effort to register, and then log in each time you visit. When you are logged in, the board software keeps track of which messages are new since you last visited, so you can read the topics that are active. The list of threads has numbers showing how many new posts there are, and when you click on the thread topic, the browser automatically positions your view on the new messages.

And don't worry about anyone using your email -- we will NEVER do that. And unless you specify when you register, your email is not displayed or made available to anyone.

After you register, the first time you log in, if you check the "Remember me on each visit" checkbox, you never even have to log in again -- the software uses a cookie behind the scenes to keep track.

I am a long-time registered user...since 2003 or so. I often (daily) drop in, and read any new posts of interest...(that part of this board seems to work fine)...as I always can see what is new highlighted in red.
In the beginning, I did hit the "remember me" button, but unless I post something that specific day, which is infrequent, I always remain one of those hidden...always labeled mysteriously as one the many anonymous. Only after checking my post will my name actually show...and not be "anonymous." Why is this?
