Some of us with too much time on our hands enjoy the bickering...

What's up with what is essentially censorship?

Well, I think the moderators are trying to walk a fine line. We all remember the awful stuff from a year or so ago that made the board unattractive. The other side of that is trying to allow people to express themeselves, and when it seems that everything that needs to be said has been, and people are starting to repeat themselves, things get locked, in lieu of them taking the turn to being personal.

In at least one case where I was a duelist, a moderator contacted me and told me why he was locking.

At least, that is my interpretation, and compared with what we put up with before, I can live with that. It seems like a reasonable trade-off, and we have other outlets if we really want to continue.

Things are SO much better, my level of tolerance is very high.
